About The Great Give
Celebrating its 14th year in 2023, The Great Give is returning on May 3-4. This 36-hr, online, community-wide giving event was created by The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven to raise visibility and resources for nonprofits serving Greater New Haven. Last year, thanks to the generosity of thousands of donors, the efforts of participating organizations, and sponsorships, the event raised an impressive $3.46 million for a record number of 510 local nonprofits. Become an Event or Prize Sponsor for 2023
This year The Community Foundation and its partner in philanthropy, the Valley Community Foundation, will contribute approximately $135,000 in matching gifts and prizes. Individuals and businesses can add to this amount through special prize incentives; the prize pool is up to $212,000 thanks to these other sponsors and is still growing. Prize sponsorships can be customized to support nonprofits serving specific geographic locations within Greater New Haven or specific areas of interest (e.g., youth services, health care, the arts, environment, education etc.). It's a great way for businesses to demonstrate their civic commitment to our local community and enhance goodwill.
