Hamden’s architectural history is a tangible link with our past and is needed for our cultural continuity. At a time when preservation is gaining widespread allegiance, the Society is the only local organization working toward that goal. Hamden’s history is ours to learn and to preserve. The Society has completed a survey of 500 important structures in town. Much more remains to be done.
