Hours and Contact
The Gorman History Room is closed for the summer. We will be checking email regularly and will answer questions for you in that format. Our email address is hhs@hamdenlibrary.org.
Although the Dickerman House remains closed at this time, the Hamden Historical Society will be open Saturday afternoons in July and August from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Lockkeepers house, 3908 Whitney Avenue. Items from the Jonathan Dickerman house will be on temporary display.
The insurance company is still assessing the damage done to the house and Talmadge Cider Mill Barn by the May 15 tornado. Check the Hamden Historical Society webpage for updates.
