Hamdenites, take our COVID Survey and let your "Stay Safe - Stay Home" experiences be a part of Hamden History!

________________________

The Hamden Historical Society would like to include you as part of Hamden's history. May we have your feedback?

The current COVID-19 crisis is a unique and momentous event in the lives of everyone living today.  Future generations of Hamden residents and researchers will be curious to know how the Hamdenites of 2020 dealt with this emergency.

To help us document this moment in our town's history, we are asking Hamden residents to share their experiences ever since we all were asked to "stay safe and stay home."  Will you help us?

Your narrative can be as short or as long as you want.  We do not expect you to be William Shakespeare or Ernest Hemingway.  Just write whatever you want.  Narratives, photos and/or videos should illustrate how the COVID emergency affected the lives and daily routines of Hamden individuals and families.

Here are some ideas to include in your response to how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected your daily life in Hamden:

How have you been affected personally?
How has day to day living changed for you?
How do you stay in touch with family and friends?
Do you know anyone who has been sick (no names, please)?
How have you and your family dealt with these effects?
Are there any positive effects that may change your routine going forward?

Your photos and videos are also welcome.
Just attach them to your email and send to:

hhs@hamdenlibrary.org

When sending photos or videos, please include your name and telephone number.
You must have ownership rights to all submitted photos and videos.

You will be a part of Hamden's history.  Your contributions will be of great interest and available to not only contemporary researchers, but also to those whose great-grandparents aren't even born yet.

Thank you!
